MY TIME IN ENGLAND

I've been to England a few times, mostly Brighton and London. It's definitely treated me well. :) London was actually the first European city I stepped foot on when I did my study abroad program while doing my undergrad at UCLA. 

CITY SPOTLIGHT: Brighton, East Sussex

I love Brighton! I lived here for over a year in a room with the most amazing view of the beach. Despite the often rainy, chilly weather of the UK, I loved waking up every morning looking out to the ocean waves. So, I did my Master's degree over here at the University of Sussex and it was a wonderful adventure. Campus was a 30-40 minute bus ride away up to Falmer, but I lived in off-campus university accommodation right on Kings Road and it was so fun!! There are so many cute cafes in the Lanes and a pretty diverse set of restaurants.
